I am so thankful the Karumuri Family, from Worthington, chose me to capture their baby girl Sahasra’s newborn portraits. They told me her name meant “A New Beginning” and I just love that! Several of my clients babies were born while I was on vacation, therefore, I scheduled the Karumuri’s session as soon as I returned. I usually try posing the baby when they first arrive to the studio but once I tried posing her, Sahasra decided she wanted to be wide awake. I immediately wrapped her because I knew that would get her comfortable and fast asleep. The very first shot I got of her was with a huge grin! I was thrilled to be able to capture her smiling so big for me. It was a pleasure working with this family and I even got to meet their cousins who are also expecting and who were also able to come to the session. I look forward to capturing their newborn session in June, too!
