How Many Weeks Pregnant Should I Be When I Take My Maternity Photos?
I always recommend that we shoot your session when you’re around 30-34 weeks pregnant.
Do You Provide Gowns for Maternity Sessions?
Yes, absolutely! I have several gorgeous couture gowns that you can use for your maternity session. They are made for these sessions because they accentuate the belly and feature trains and lines that are beautiful.
Do You Offer Professional Hair and Make Up Services?
Absolutely! Get ready to be pampered with a professional hair and makeup artist that will be at the studio. You're going to look and feel gorgeous and glammed up.
How Long Is the Session?
Hair and Make up can take about 1 1/2 hours and the photo session can take about 1 hour if it's in studio, if you want outdoor session you'll have to allow time to travel to a local park. I would allow about 2 1/2 -3 1/2 hours in total.
Where Will the Maternity Session Take Place?
We can either do the session indoors at my home studio located in Upper Arlington, or we can do them outdoors at a local park. I recommend doing them outdoors during spring, summer, fall and indoors in the winter.
Can My Husband/Significant Other Be Included in the Maternity Photos?
Yes, absolutely! I encourage spouses to be at the session.

2. PLANNING YOUR MATERNITY SESSION
After setting a date, we’ll be able to discuss all the possibilities for your portraits. Starting with location of the session, planning a time to come to the studio to try on the gowns to see which gowns you’re most comfortable with, goes well with your skin tones and we’ll make sure you look your very best!
I want to make sure you are 100% confident the day of your session so that you can focus on YOU! Don’t be afraid to ask questions and find out everything you might want to know before your session.
Your maternity session will be relaxed, calm and peaceful. I will carefully and gently guide you into flawless and stunning poses that will make you look your best.
After your session, we'll schedule a Reveal and Ordering Appointment. Once you select your collection you'd like to purchase, we will work on editing your images and creating beautiful Keepsake Albums, Heirloom Wood Prints, Canvases, and any other artwork that you’ll like to be displayed and to cherish and treasure for a lifetime!
