I am so glad that Kate, from Upper Arlington, had contacted me to capture her sweet baby girl, Olivia’s newborn portraits. I had photographed one of her colleagues/ friends baby a few weeks ago. She emailed me on Thanksgiving Day that she had already had her baby on the 18th. I was so glad I could schedule her in on the 1st of December. I typically like to photograph newborns about 5-10 days new. Olivia was 12 days new and did great! Her mom gave me free reign to style her entire session. I styled her in pretty lilacs, blush pinks and added some gray since her nursery was gray and neutral as they didn’t know if they were going to have a girl or a boy.
My daughter, Olivia, always wants to know the names of the babies I photograph. She has wanted me to photograph an Olivia for such a long time! I have photographed three Luca’s (my son’s name) and ever since she’s been waiting for me to photograph an Olivia. When I was editing these photos I told my daughter her name and she was soo excited!
