I was honored that Navae asked me to capture her newborn portraits for their baby boy, Dawann. She said she saw my work when I captured Baby Markeith’s images which was a session that I donated to Markeith’s Grandparents since he lost both his parents in a tragic accident. Navae said she loved my work and that she also wanted to incorporate the baby angel wings (as I did with Markeith) as she has another son up in heaven and that the wings represent Dawann’s older brother watching over him. I loved that idea and we definitely incorporated that for them. I styled the session in browns/neutrals as well as some grays and whites. They turned out so adorable. I can’t wait to put all the images in a beautiful 12×12 keepsake album for their family to cherish. Thank you Navae for choosing me. It was a pleasure working with you and I hope to see Dawann again for his sitting up milestone session in a few short months!
