I was ecstatic when Courtney, from Dublin, Ohio, chose me to capture her identical newborn twins for me to photograph. She told me she chose me because she loved that my portfolio was very diverse which was a huge compliment.
Malcolm and Xavier were born a little early. They were in the NICU for a little over a month. They really did amazing for their session, especially since they were 53 days old!
I styled the session in neutral earth tones which I felt really complimented their skin tones. Their Mom bought several albums for family, a large canvas to hang on her wall and announcements to send to friends and family. Let’s face it, they are going to be busy with twins so the least I can do is create a custom announcement for them. My announcements are printed on a soft matte paper that feels like butter. I also include a return address label and an adorable photo as a sticker for the back of the envelope. All they have to do is write the addresses and put a stamp on it. I love offering this to my clients so they can spend their time with their baby/ies and nap and rest when they can!
Capturing twins is so much fun. I think it’s so important to not only capture these newborns together, but individually as well. We got so many great images from this session. Here are a few of my favorites.
If you’re on the fence about scheduling your own newborn session, schedule a consultation and I’ll walk you through the entire process.
I hope to have Malcom and Xavier back for their baby photography sessions. You can find out more details about cake smashes, first birthdays, and all the fun milestones we can celebrate.
