I can’t believe that my baby girl, Olivia, is 8 years old. She truly is a joy and I am always grateful for her. I can’t imagine my world without her! She’s always been such a happy kid ever since she was a baby. I love that she’s so laid back and goes with the flow.
Every year I feel like my kids have a phase that they are into. It started with Yo Gabba Gabba, then she was in a phase where all she would wear is tutus all the time! She was into Princesses, Pinakalicious, Barbies, Beanie Boos and this year she loves Emojis, Unicorns and Rainbows! We decided to throw her a Unicorn Birthday Party. I knew I wanted to incorporate her theme into her yearly Birthday Session so I surprised her with a real live unicorn! She was thrilled and so happy the entire time of the unicorn session. Blizzard, the unicorn, was so gentle with her. I was a little nervous as Olivia has always been afraid of animals and I wasn’t sure how she would do, but Blizzard made her relax as he was such a good horse….I mean unicorn! 😉
Before we drove out to the horse farm, we stopped at Easton to grab some dinner and pick up her dress. Olivia is also into shopping so one of her gifts was I let her go shopping and pick out an outfit. Here’s the outfit she picked, sunglasses and all. I’m really not surprised by the shirt she picked, too!
This is definitely my favorite image from her session! I blew this up and printed it on a canvas for her to hang in her room. She should get it this week and I can’t wait to get her reaction!
This one is definitely another favorite! I love that Blizzard was sticking his tongue out, kind of like one of Olivia’s favorite emojis!
These are also some of my favorites with her twirling, so magical!
The owners of the horse farm, Danielle asked me to photograph another one of their miniature horses, Phantom. They even put some pretty purple flowers on him to mach Olivia’s dress. And look at his gorgeous blue eyes. He was so sweet, too!
